Conquest Drove and Kings Delph Drove, Farcet

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

ORDER 2018/430

NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Regulations 1992, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Conquest Drove and Kings Delph Drove, Farcet as lies between the junction with Straight Drove (C88) and Kew Lodge Farm and Nursery; and the junction with Straight Drove (C88) and Milk and Water Drove.

Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order.

The alternative route for vehicles for Conquest Drove is via Straight Drove; and for Kings Delph Drove is via B1095 – Wrights Drove – Straight Drove and vice versa.

The Order is made to facilitate surface dressing works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4 June 2018 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 December 2019 whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4th June 2018 and 3 December 2019.

The Order shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
